We were thrilled to win the 'Community Spirit Award' at the 1066 Business Awards on Thursday 5th June hosted by Lets Do Business Group.

The 1066 Business Awards highlight the inspiring businesses and entrepreneurs in Hastings and Rother, and recognise their impact on our communities and the local economy.

The Community Spirit Award is "a heartfelt recognition of individuals and organisations that embody the true essence of community engagement and altruism" and celebrates those who go above and beyond, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to making a positive impact on their communities.

We enjoyed talks from two inspiring speakers, Jens Knoop, Founder of Knoops Chocolate, and Emily Craig MBE - British Olympic Gold Medallist in Paris 2024 for rowing - lightweight women's double.

We're very grateful to everyone who works with us to deliver our programme - the teachers, schools, charities, community groups, volunteers, sessional staff, and our amazing guest creatives and industry professionals.

The award comes the same week as we celebrate The Foundation's 3rd anniversary.
