The Bright Foundation employs a small, friendly committed team of staff.
This September we are recruiting a brand new teaching post. It’s a really exciting time to be joining us as we consolidate our learning over the last two years, expand our programmes, and build new partnerships across the region.
Arts & Theatre Learning Leader
£21k per annum (£35k full time equivalent)
1 year fixed term with potential to extend following review
0.6 – 3 days a week / 22.5 hours a week
You will plan and deliver our arts education activities at the Barn Theatre and Museum, working closely with local schools and teachers to lead inspirational visits and projects.
We have been told by many children that visit us that it has been their “best day ever!” The rural venue with professional theatre and museum of antique toys and puppets is totally magical but needs a charismatic and inspirational creative leader to bring out the magic and help create life-long memories for the children that visit. Are you that person?
You will be a versatile arts education facilitator, skilled at working in performing arts and visual arts mediums. You may come from a teaching background or an arts background – but most important is that you can engage and inspire children and young people and deliver strong learning outcomes in arts and theatre.
