The Bright Foundation is hugely grateful to have such a generous benefactor in John Bright. His support enables our core costs and overheads to be funded on an ongoing basis. We raise additional funds for creative projects that engage young people facing disadvantage to realise their full potential through the creative arts.

Hastings is the 13th most deprived borough in the country and has the highest rate of child poverty in the South East, with 35% of households living in poverty. We believe access to arts and culture should be an entitlement for all children and young people, regardless of their background. 

Please help us to reach and engage more young people and tackle the barriers in accessing the arts.
