Volunteer

Would you like to help support The Bright Foundation achieve its mission in using the arts to create happier, healthier children and young people?

There are a range of volunteering opportunities including helping at our festivals and events, supporting the workshops we deliver to schools, being part of the welcome team at our theatre performances, helping catalogue and maintain our museum collection, or gardening and grounds-work to help maintain our beautiful land.

All volunteers will undertake an induction and training programme to prepare for your role. We can cover travel expenses for days you are requested to work. All volunteers will have to get a DBS check before starting.

To find out more please download a copy of our Volunteering pack here.

Working at The Bright Foundation is a lot of fun. You're surrounded by lovely people in an environment focusing on natural beauty and conserving habitats for local wildlife, as well as educating young people on art, history, and the environment, in enjoyable open events tailored for the whole family to enjoy.

I'm incredibly grateful to have been given the opportunity to work here, and to help educate minds on the beautiful surroundings all around us.  Volunteering for Earth Day was both interesting and fulfilling. It was all about the small (yet fun) contributions we can all put towards protecting our planet.

Freya, Young Ambassador (aged 14)
