POSTPONED - Further details will available soon.
Following extensive improvements to the Barn Theatre, we are delighted to announce that we will be reopening with The Bright Foundation’s specially-commissioned show, The Ballad of Red and the Wilding Wolf - a vibrant reimagining of Little Red Riding Hood (with connections to the museum’s collection of puppets and antique toys).

About the show
The animals are angry. The people aren’t listening. And somewhere in the woods, a Big Bad Wolf is on the prowl. Will the two sides clash, or can a little girl called Red find a way through?
Combining music, puppetry, and theatrical magic, this thoughtful retelling of Little Red Riding Hood explores familiar themes from new perspectives, delving a little deeper and meeting some new characters along the way.
Suitable for ages 4+ though everyone is welcome.
After the show you can take the opportunity to explore the museum and take part in a creative workshop.
Our pop-up cafe will be serving delicious treats from Food Comes First Catering (card only).
