Are you 11–15 and full of big ideas, creativity, and curiosity about how films are made?

This 3-day summer programme offers you the chance to dive in the world of filmmaking. You will take on the role of either actor or film crew. 

You’ll spend two days gaining film skills – whether that’s performing on camera or working behind the scenes - picking apart the scene we’ve given you, guided by industry professionals.    

Then, Action! You’ll film the scene, edit it, add sound effects and music, and see your work come to life in a final screening to family and friends.

No experience needed! Just bring your energy, imagination, and team spirit.

PRACTICALITIES

• You are welcome to bring your own packed lunch, or there is the option of a healthy lunch provided on site (£6 per head) bookable in advance.
• Please wear trainers and comfortable loose clothing

About the Benbow Arts Space
The Benbow Arts Space is a new creative learning hub dedicated to the art of filmmaking located in the heart of St Leonards-on-Sea. Young people can discover their passion for filmmaking, develop skills and begin their journey into the film industry.
