The Bright Foundation is delighted to announce the launch of our FREE Film & Screen Saturday Club for 13–16-year-olds!

 Love film and cinema?

Explore your creativity, learn new skills and start your journey into the creative industries with this FREE National Saturday Club in Film & Screen for 13–16 year olds.

This course is targeted at young people who may be experiencing school anxiety, have low attendance rates, or are not currently attending school. We are working with local schools and support services for referrals or you can sign up independently. We offer a safe and inclusive space that enables each young person to work at their own pace and build friendships with like-minded people. 

Led by Creative Practitioner Sarah Buller, and run in partnership with the National Saturday Club, these weekly sessions give you the chance to make films, produce digital content, and tell your own stories in our inspiring youth arts space – all at no cost.

You’ll also take part in exciting national events, including Masterclasses with industry professionals, the Summer Show at Somerset House, and a special Graduation Ceremony in London to celebrate your achievements!

Sarah has spent the last decade supporting young people in film and the creative industries, helping them gain qualifications, build confidence, hone their skills and showcase their work. She has delivered projects with a wide range of funders and service providers, from the GLA to the National Lottery, creating pathways for young people to develop skills and step into creative careers.
