The Bright Foundation is recruiting a Programme Coordinator

Location: Hastings & St Leonards-on-Sea, East Sussex
Salary: £28,000 per annum
Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)

Term: One year fixed term with intention to become permanent following review

The Bright Foundation is looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Programme Coordinator to help deliver our growing programme of creative learning opportunities for children and young people across Hastings, St Leonards and Rother.

The Role
As Programme Coordinator, you will play a central role in organising and supporting our schools, public and youth programmes. You'll coordinate bookings, liaise with teachers and partners, support events and workshops, and help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the charity. 

What You’ll Be Doing:
 Coordinating school visits, group bookings, filmmaking projects and creative careers activities
 Being the main point of contact for teachers and group leaders, managing bookings and communication
 Supporting the delivery of events, workshops and projects
 Organising resources, equipment and staffing 
 Providing day-to-day administration support to help keep the organisation running efficiently
 Gathering feedback and evaluation and maintaining records to support reporting
 Assisting with venue operations and creating welcoming spaces for our visitors

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working in a cultural, educational or arts setting
  • A confident communicator, able to build positive relationships with children, young people, teachers, partners and colleagues.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with excellent organisational skills.
  • Strong IT and administration skills – able to work on Macs and MS Office
  • UK driving license and ability to travel between venues.
  • A passion for arts, culture, and creativity!
