Over the February half-term we welcomed Slot Machine Theatre, with their immersive, multi- sensory experience ‘SNUG’ for 0- 6 year olds and their families.

Visitors came for either a morning or an afternoon performance in our theatre which had been transformed into a cosy den with real trees, draping textures, rolling hills and a magical woodland soundscape.

Performers and their puppet companions brought to life the endearing story of a Hedgehog looking for a place to hibernate, meeting friends along the way.

The 20-minute performance was followed with a meet and greet with some of the puppets encountered in the story, exploration of our museum, craft activities a-plenty and an outdoor hedgehog trail.
